Toshiba ReelTime is an indexing tool that allows users to view files and applications that have recently been opened on the computer. The program makes it easier for users to access files by viewing them as thumbnails instead of using the Windows search feature. This can save users time when looking for important files. Toshiba ReelTime display can be customized according to the user’s preferences. Recently used/opened files are shown at the bottom part of the window. The files can also be dragged and dropped to another location, or they can be grouped according to file type. There is also a filter to for displaying all files, documents only, photos only, or videos only.
To launch the program, click the ‘Start’ button and search for ‘Reel’ on the search field. The TOSHIBA ReelTime application will be displayed. Click on the name and the program will start up. The default setting of the program shows all the previously opened programs in chronological order. The software works by indexing and tracking all the documents and applications that are opened so that they can easily be accessed with ReelTime.
Toshiba ReelTime was released in 2012 and can be used on several Toshiba models including Portege, Satellite, Qosmio, and others.
