eMedia Card Designer is a graphic application that enables users to design plastic cards that are commonly used as company and school IDs, club membership cards, store loyalty cards, and business cards. This application has an easy-to-use interface that lets users create card designs in a WYSIWYG, or What You See Is What You Get environment. The simple interface allows users to easily add images, shapes, texts, and barcodes to cards. The application allows users to import ID photo files from scanners or digital cameras and rotate, crop, and resize these to fit the specified ID picture area on the card.

To help first-time users in navigating the program and using its features, eMedia Card Designer comes with a Quick Start Guide in PDF format that guides users in creating cards quickly and easily. This program has plugin support and may also be controlled from another application such as Microsoft Access. Aside from creating card designs, this application also assists users in their information management tasks. For example, job titles and departments can be listed down in a database that can be integrated into a worksheet. Records can be made of individual members and users can assign specific ID numbers that would easily identify which department a particular employee, student, or organization member belongs to.
