ABBYY FineReader 10 Professional Edition is an OCR (Optical Character Recognition) program converts files and documents into PDF files. The application makes of ADRT (Adaptive Document Recognition Technology), which is able to recognize not only the text, but also the structure and layout of the documents. Faxes, documents, barcodes, and magazine pages can be turned into PDF files without having to re-type information. The software also has processing tools to keep the quality of images. These tools include ISO noise correction, line straightening, inverting and rotating tools, automatic correction of 3D distortions, and blurred image correction.

ABBYY FineReader 10 Professional Edition can be used by anyone. It comes with quick-task functions that enable users to convert documents with just one click. There is also an Automation Manager that can be used for defining tasks that are frequently done.
