Animated Weather

Animated Weather is a widget developed by MobilityFlow that provides users with a graphically realistic weather forecast on their desktop and mobile devices. The weather conditions are rendered realistically on screen, showing video effects of rainy, snowy, sunny, and cloudy weather. The free version of the application provides users with the following features:

• Support for more than fifty thousand locations around the world
• Daily animated weather forecast
• Automatic updating of weather forecasts
• Realistic graphics of clouds, snow, and rain
• Global weather tracking

The Pro version has all of the basic features with two additional features: a detailed daily forecast for the morning, afternoon, evening, and night; and a weather forecast that can be set on a weekly and monthly basis.

Animated Weather has a compact and well-organized interface that shows the name of the city and the country at the top. This application makes use of several weather aggregators and is backed up by forecast reliability ratings. It also allows users to set their own backgrounds, choose between metric and imperial units. The application determines the user’s location automatically via GPS and presents the local weather using data from local weather forecast providers. The Geolocation feature makes sure that users are given accurate weather forecasts every day, wherever they are.
