SONAR Producer 8.5

SONAR Producer 8.5 is an application used in composing, recording, mixing, editing, and mastering digital audio files. It has a comprehensive set of music production tools and features that enable users to create high-quality 64-bit audio tracks. This program also comes with a collection of virtual instruments, in addition to sound effects for the user’s digital audio workstation. The main functions of the program with some of their corresponding features are as follows:

• Create and Record Audio Files – the program comes with track templates, Instrument Tracks, and a Step Sequencer that enables users to make beats and synth lines.
• Record High-quality Audio – users can record as many tracks as they want, at any bit depth or sample rate.
• Edit tracks – the application makes use of the Roland V-Vocal VariPhrase processor for vocal tracks, AudioSnap for audio timing, Track Layers for track assembly, and Smart MIDI Tools for editing MIDI files.
• Mix tracks – the application comes with an Active Controller Technology that enables users to take full control of their mix, effects, and instruments. In addition, users can make use of more than 30 surround configurations.
• Mastering audio – the application comes with audio mastering tools such as the LP-64 Linear Phase EQ, LP-64 Linear Phase Multiband Compressor, and the Boost 11 Peak Limiter.  

Users can import and export files such as FLAC, QuickTime, and AIF. When done, users can upload their music online or burn their audio tracks to CD.
