Tomb Raider III - Adventures of Lara Croft

Tomb Raider III - Adventures of Lara Croft is the third action adventure game of the Tomb Raider series. It is developed by the company, Core Design and features a combination of exploration and fighting set in a 3D environment. The game’s plot revolves around the female character Lara Croft and her continuing search for adventure and exotic treasure hunting. The story takes place in Antarctica, which was almost completely destroyed after being hit by a strange meteoroid. Many years after this catastrophe, sailors from a ship named Charles Darwin visits Antarctica and explores ground zero. They collect pieces of the meteor with them when they leave and travel to other parts of the world.

At present, a research corporation called RX Tech is studying the sailors’ expedition in order to verify the alleged powers of the meteor fragments. Concurrently, Lara is on yet another quest in India to search for the fabled Infada artifact. She is not yet aware of the significance of this piece, and encounters people from RX Tech who are just as interested in the artifacts. The player controls Lara’s character as she explores Indi, London, Nevada, the South Pacific Islands, and Antarctica. She has to defeat enemies and elude natural hazards in order to confront the lead researcher of RX Tech in Antarctica, Dr. Mark Willard and stop him from carrying out his sinister plans of world domination.
