DeadIsland

DeadIsland is a role-playing video game that was released in 2011. The story of the game centers on four main characters who must survive a zombie attack in an island. The four heroes in the game have different characteristics and abilities:

• Sam B – sustains heavy damage and can handle several enemies at once
• Xian Mei – blades expert and the assassin of the group
• Logan Carter – the ‘jack of all trades’ in the group
• Purna – firearm expect

The game is played in first-person perspective. There are four acts in the game, with each having 7 to 15 quests. Quests are given to the player by survivors or by going to different locations in the island. Aside from the main quests, there are also numerous side quests that players can complete to receive rewards that can be helpful in the game. Rewards are given in the form of cash, experience points, weapons, and other in-game items.

The main enemies in the game are zombies. The zombies are spread throughout the island and they have different characteristics. Common zombies walk slowly, but they are quiet and can be difficult to see in dark areas. There are also infected zombies who walk faster, but are weaker. Aside from the common zombies, there are also special zombies (thug, suicider, floater, ram, and butcher) that are harder to defeat.
