Video Performer is a free program that is used to convert video files to any video file format available. Video Performer supports common video file formats, such as: AVI, MOV, TS, XVID, MP4, DVD, MPEG, Blu-Ray, FLV, etc. This program also features a simple interface that is easy to operate.

Aside from a wide range of conversion options, Video Performer also allows users to directly convert files from an optical disc. The program makes use of the IFO (information) format in place of the VOB (video object) when converting, since it provides better quality than VOB. Also, Video Performer supports HD (high-definition) formats like AVCHD, MPEG-2 HD, and WMV that enables users to play their video using a television or create their own DVD copies. In addition, Video Performer can convert video files compatible to different consoles and mobile devices.

To convert a video file using Video Performer, a user must first select the video by clicking on the “Add File” button on the upper center of the window, next to the product logo. Added files will be displayed on the file list area on the center part along with information related to the imported file. Next, users must choose the format, which the selected video will be converted to. This is shown as a drop-down menu listing all the available video formats. Afterwards, click the “start” button to start the conversion process. The conversion status is displayed on the progress bar located on the bottom center of the window. Once the conversion is done, the resulting video may be accessed in the output directory, shown on the lower left part of the window.
