Photo Frames & Effects is an application that allows users to add borders, frames, and filters to their photos and images. It comes with more than 270 items that can easily be added to images. This application is useful for creating greeting cards, digital photo albums, and scrapbooks. Apart from adding frames and borders, the program can also be used for adjusting the appearance of the image by cropping, rotating, and changing the temperature or contrast of colors.
The program has an intuitive user interface that both beginners and advanced users will be able to use. The left panel on the main window consists of all the tools that are divided into three categories – Edit, Effects, and Filters. When one of the categories is chosen, users can choose from the options provided underneath and add them to the image. Changes can immediately be seen on the work area. Apart from these features, other features of the application are as follows:
• Support for different file formats including PNG, JPG, GIF, PSD, and BMP
• Photos and images can be printed out directly from the application
• Has support for RAW formats, such as SRF, RAF, RAW, CRW, and more
• Users can add text to photos and images
