PicPick is a screen capture and image editing application. The program consists of simple tools that can be used for taking screen captures of the desktop and enhancing them. The program’s interface is simple and can be used even by beginners. The screen capture window provides several tools for image capturing. Screenshots can be taken in different ways – full screen, active window, or a specific area of the screen. The captured image can be used in other programs, too. The screen capture menu can be accessed from the system tray.

The program’s Image Editor is similar to the interface of Windows Paint. Some of the basic drawing tools included in the editor are arrows, text, lines, shapes, and an eraser tool. In addition, there are also various effects that users can make use of. These are pixelate, rotate, flip, blur, and sharpen. Photo enhancing tools, such as contrast, brightness, and color balance, are also available.

All the tools offered by the program can be viewed when the application is launched. The Home window allows users to pick a task from the list for easy access to the program’s tools. Other tools included with the application are Color Picker, Pixel Ruler, Protractor, WhiteBoard, and Magnifier.
