Home Sweet Home: Christmas Edition

Home Sweet Home: Christmas Edition is a holiday-themed time management game that was first released in 2008. The game is one of the titles in the Home Sweet Home series of games. In the game, the small town of Good Tidings has lost its holiday spirit and the mayor has called on Dee Ziner to decorate the town. Players must design the home with the help of the crew including Liz, Goran, and Brian.

In each level, players are presented with a home to decorate. Homeowners state their ideal home and it is up to the player to furnish and build it according to the homeowner’s specifications. When building, players must fill up the candy cane at the left side of the screen. The candy cane signifies the homeowner’s happiness with the place. Furniture and other home decorations are located at the bottom of the screen. Players must assign tasks to the crew in order to finish the home in time. Players must also keep the budget of the homeowner in mind when building.

Unlike other games in the series, Home Sweet Home: Christmas Edition offers furniture and other items in a holiday theme. There are several decorations to choose from that allows players to come up with unique home holiday-themed home designs.
