ExifReader is a program that enables users to view the EXIF information on photos. It is a portable application that can be saved in a hard drive or USB thumb drive to use on other computers. It does not need to be installed in the computer in order for it to run. Users just have to click on the application’s executable file to run the program. It has a simple user interface that is easy to use for both novice and advanced computer users. The application supports images from popular camera manufacturers, such as Kodak, Canon, Nikon, and many others.
On the application’s main interface, a digital photo can be added to the program by using the browser. A thumbnail of the image will be displayed on the left side of the window and information on the image will be displayed as a list on the right side of the window. Some of the information included in the program include the resolution, orientation, date and time, exposure, aperture, and many others. The EXIF information provided by the application can be saved as a text or CSV file for the user’s reference. The program does not clog up system resources. It can be used by both novice and advanced users.
