Ashampoo MP3 AudioCenter is a multimedia application that enables users to perform various tasks like burning, converting, editing, extracting, and fixing MP3s and other types of audio files. It comes with six modules, which have individual functions. The Audio CD ripper allows the user to extract the files inside an audio CD and copy it on a hard drive in four formats: FLAC, MP3, OGG, and WAV. The program automatically creates a desktop icon once the program is installed and lets the user set the output directory. The second module features the audio burning function that features a straightforward CD burner interface with a load meter. Users can import their MP3 files to the program via the drag-and-drop method.
In the conversion module, users can take advantage of two important features: it can convert tracks into more than one format, and allows the user to edit the specifications of the track. This means that the track can keep the format but alter the bitrate and sampling frequency among others. In addition, users can also create an audio compilation that consists of multiple tracks with varied master-level. The last module is a track utility that attempts to repair broken files by allowing the user to open, move, rename, or delete them.
