Documents To Go Desktop

Documents To Go is a desktop application that enables users to synchronize various documents from their computer for use in smart phones and tablets. This program supports Microsoft Office applications such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, as well as Adobe PDF and Apple iWork document formats. Documents To Go can also prepare and synchronize documents coming from Microsoft Outlook (an email client), and Microsoft Access. In addition, Documents To Go can receive and prepare files coming from online storage clients such as DropBox and Google Drive.

With Documents To Go, users can view, edit, and transfer files between a desktop computer and other external devices without suffering any changes in the original formatting of the document. This program also has a built in image previewer that can open .JPEG and .BMP (bitmap) image files. MS Excel visual charts can also be viewed with its added Excel Chart compatibility. In addition, Documents To Go can open compressed .ZIP files.

The programs display window shows the available external device connected to the computer by a USB connection. Documents To Go has options that allow the user to rename the device and the computer and then synchronize it afterwards. The interface has three controls that allow the user to add, edit and delete folders in the device. These are located on the lower left corner of the window. Adding a new folder generates a directory list, which allows the user to locate the files to be synchronized.
