AVS Audio Editor is a program that enables users to edit audio files in a variety of formats and sources. Users can also edit audio files from optical discs such as CDs and DVDs. In addition, AVS Audio Editor has features that enable users to export audio from a video file, record audio tracks using a plugged-in microphone, and add effects and filters to audio files.

AVS Audio Editor features various audio editing controls such as cut, join, trim, mix, split, and delete audio portions. This program provides a timeline view to allow users to preview audio tracks and skip to different parts of the audio. AVS Audio Editor also has audio enhancing filters that allow users to remove unwanted sounds such as crackling, hissing, and roaring. The program also contains audio masks that minimize background noise. Users can apply effects to their audio tracks by means of 20 built-in effects and filters such as delay, flanger, chorus, etc. In addition, AVS Audio Editor has features such as Text to Speech, Voice Morpher, and Auto Correction.

AVS Audio Editor can also record audio data from various sources such as a microphone, vinyl records, and from input lines from sound cards. Users can also extract audio tracks from video files such as AVI, MP4, MKV, and WMC then convert it to a desired audio format. In addition, AVS Audio Editor can allow users to work on their audio projects faster by the batch editing function of the program. This feature allows users to pre-select a bunch of effects and settings then apply it to a group of audio files.
