Tom Clancys H.A.W.X.v 1.02.DirectX 10.0 is a flight simulation game that offers players another level of air battle experience. The game is set in a parallel reality where nations and corporations employ elite mercenaries in a quest for supremacy over the enemy. This game uses real-world aircraft and vividly realistic battle landscapes as well.

One of the highlights of this game is the E.R.S feature or Enhanced Reality Systems which is in-game technology that encompasses parameters such as weapons trajectory control, incoming missile detection, damage assessment, management radar, anti-collision system, and anti-crash system. Another highlight of this game is the multiplayer mode, the first ever offered in a flight simulation environment. This mode allows as many as four players to play the main campaign.

Tom Clancys H.A.W.X.v 1.02.DirectX 10.0 offers players two operations to complete. Operation: Off Certification is available as a Training mode. Meanwhile, Operation: Glass Hammer is for skilled players.
This game has two game modes. The fist is the normal, default control mode. The second is the “Assistance Off” mode, which gives the player full control.

Upon gaining experience points, the players of this game can unlock three licensed planes, namely the AV-8B Harrier II, the SU-35 Super Flanker, and the F-16A Fighting Falcon.
