Agatha Christie - Peril at End House 1

Agatha Christie – Peril at End House is a HOG (hidden object game) that was first released in 2008. It is one of the games included in the Agatha Christie series of mystery games. Players are tasked to help Detective Poirot in solving the mystery of End House, which is an estate left to Nick Buckley. There have been repeated attempts to murder Buckley and it is the task of players solve puzzles and find items to help solve the mystery.

Players can navigate to different locations through a map. Locations are marked together with the number of items that need to be found. Once players have chosen a location, they are immediately taken there with a list of items they need to find. This can be found on the left side of the main window. There is also a watch that signifies the time remaining for the player to find all the items. When players get stuck, they can use the magnifying glass to find the item from the scene. As more locations are visited and more items found, the story unfolds and players get clues and evidences. These can be accessed by clicking on their respective buttons at the bottom left side of the game window. Players are also given specific tasks in each level that help solve the mystery.
