AlgoLab Raster to Vector Conversion Toolkit is an application that is used to convert maps, mechanical and technical drawings, architectural designs, and black and white graphics from journals, books, and magazines from raster format to vector. This enables users to scan drawings or line artwork and save these in a format that may be imported to any drawing program or CAD application, making this an ideal tool for illustrators and graphic designers.
This application makes use of an advanced Fine Line Technology that is able to create accurate and perfect-looking designs and shapes. The toolkit also has the ability to refine curves and shapes. With this program, users will be able to digitize drawings, including math-based graphs for use in spreadsheet programs such as Lotus 1-2-3 and Microsoft Excel.
Users can import files through the file browser. Imported images can be cropped, rotated, and modified. Users can zoom in and out, fill holes, apply negation, change the image size, and adjust the lines to make them thicker or thinner as necessary. In addition, recognition properties such as lines and arcs may be configured. The output files can be saved in a variety of formats, including Windows metafile (WMF), AutoCAD (DXF), Enhanced metafile (EMF), ASCII XY (TXT), and Adobe Illustrator (AI).
