Ancient Quest of Saqqarah

Ancient Quest of Saqqarah is a computer game set on ancient Saqqarah where a mysterious eclipse occurs once every thousand years. Saqqarah is an ancient Egypt burial ground and is home to numerous pyramids which include Djoser’s famous Step pyramid. Saqqara is where the earliest complete stone construction in history was built. An eclipse, on the other hand, is an astronomical event described as when an astronomical object is hindered from view by another astronomical object. An example of this is the solar eclipse wherein the sun is temporarily obscured from the Earth by the Moon.

The objective of the Ancient Quest of Saqqarah game is to solve over 500 challenging puzzles to restore the power of ancient Egypt. There are seven gameplays within the game, with the player taking the role of different Egyptian Gods such as Horus, Isis, Osiris, Thot, Sobek, Anubis, and Bast.  The player goes through the challenges with a magical monkey named Khufu who has six (6) main powers including Lightning Spell, Token Charge Spell, Singing Glyphs, Fireball Spell, Shuffle Spell, and Time Boost Spell. There is also a selection of 10 trophies, which the player can acquire as he or she completes the puzzles. For instance, the user can win the Obelisk of Triumph if he or she wins 15 levels in a row in one temple. Several versions of the game have been developed to work on Windows, Mac, iPad, and iPhone.
