Anka is a point-and-click adventure game developed and published by Big Fish Games. It was first released on December 11, 2009. The game’s storyline revolves around Anka, a young boy who is in a mission to find his parents and discover why they suddenly disappeared. The game features 16 characters that are animated in terms of faces, and fully voiced. The player takes on the role of Anka and goes to a point-and-click adventure.
Anka’s gameplay mostly involved point-and-click actions. As the story progress, the player encounters various challenges and puzzles. The types of puzzles/challenges range from skill games to logical games. There are 23 types of mini games available. Once the player unlocks a certain mini game, it can be accessed from the main menu. This enables the player to play the puzzles/challenges separately from the Adventure mode with new game modes and levels for each mini-game. Some of the available mini-games even offer customization features allowing the player to customize the game using personal images. The game also features hints, which can be used whenever the player needs it. However, the player must wait for the hint meter to refill before it can be used. Other features offered by Anka include Windowed or Full Screen window options, adjustable Volume, additional levels in mini games, and ability to skip mini-games, among others.
