Ashampoo Movie Menu is a program used for creating menus for DVDs and Blu-ray discs. It allows users to create professional-looking menus. The program comes with menu templates for every occasion (wedding, anniversary, birthday, holidays, and more). The menu editor is used for customizing the theme, adding sub-menus, and choosing background music to play when the menu is displayed on the screen. The application supports a variety of disc formats, too.  Users can choose a menu for the type of disc (DVD or Blu-ray) or the aspect ratio (4:3 or 16:9).

In addition to standard menus, Ashampoo Movie Menu also offers animated disc menus. Some of the built-in animated themes include the bamboo theme, black and green, colors, comic, hearts, travel, skyline, and party. Creating a disc menu can be done in just a few steps. All the buttons for editing the menu are clearly labeled. On the left side of the main window, the buttons for adding a background, an image, text, and shape are displayed. The user can also preview a final look of the menu to see what it would look like on screen. The movie menu can be burned to a disc or saved to the system’s hard drive for later use.
