Avi2Dvd is a program used for converting videos to different file formats. It supports AVI, MKV, MP4, OGM, and WMV to VCD, DVD, or SVCD. The program guides the user through the five steps of converting videos. These are presented in tabs on the program’s main window – Input, Output, Encoders, Subtitles, and DVD Menu. The program provides plenty of options for the user to configure including the audio stream, language, subtitles, etc. The program also comes with a screenshot capture tool that allows users to capture a screenshot and use it for making the DVD menu.
Avi2Dvd also comes with an Mp3 to Mp2 converter tool that can be used for adding background music when the disc menu is displayed. The WYSIWYG DVD menu editor makes it easy for users to create professional looking menus. The menu editor allows users to add objects to the menu, such as background image, background sound, audio button, images, texts, sub buttons, and chapter buttons.
