Aliens Versus Predator 2 is a video game that was released in 2001. It is based on 2 entertainment franchises, Alien and Predator. It is also the sequel to Aliens Versus Predator that was released in 1999. The game follows the events of the Alien 3 film 50 years after the film’s events. The player goes to Planet LV1201 where there are three races fighting for survival. The player can choose to play as the Predator, the Alien, or a Marine in a fight with the other races to stay alive. The game features an interweaving plot where the story of the three races intersect with each other at some point in the game.

Alien Versus Predator 2 features three races that the player can choose to play with. Each race has unique abilities and weapons that can affect how the player plays the game. There are 21 single player missions the player can complete to finish a campaign. Players have the option to play in Multiplayer mode to play the game against other players. A unique feature of the game is the Death Match mode where it is one man against other players. More unique is Team Death Match mode wherein players can organize teams against other teams.
