AVS Video ReMaker is an application for editing videos. The program supports several file formats including MOV, MKV, WMV, and others. The program allows users to remove unwanted parts of a video, and change the sequence of the videos. AVS Video ReMaker saves the edited video without reconversion so the video quality is retained. It also supports videos that are recorded with different video cameras and camcorders (MOD, AVCHD, TOD, and MTS/M2TS). The application has a simple interface, making it easy to use for beginners.
The program’s interface has all the tools and buttons needed for doing tasks. There are four buttons under File List – Add File, Record Video, Capture Screen, and Clear. There are also buttons above the timeline for adding transitions, chapters, and creating a Disc Menu. The timeline is located at the bottom of the screen. Users can drag and drop a video file to be added to the timeline. Videos can be re-arranged, too. A preview of the edited video can be viewed on the right side of the screen.
AVS Video ReMaker also allows users to split videos into different chapters. The program has built-in templates for creating DVD menus, too. The edited video can then be burned to a disc.
