Azada: Ancient Magic is a casual adventure game in the puzzle genre developed by Big Fish Studios. In this game, players re tasked to pick up various items and use these to solve puzzles. Players must help Titus, the great-grandnephew of the scholar named Argus. Argus had acquired the book of Azada along with magical items. In the story, an ancient evil is disguised as one of the characters in the library books, and it is up to the player to help Titus in identifying this dark entity and defeat it. To do this, players must solve the puzzles in the 21 books and accomplish the minigames. As the game progresses, players will get to meet characters in various tales and legends, such as Rapunzel, King Arthur, and Dr. Jekyll. Along the way, the secret to the menace will be revealed.
Azada: Ancient Magic has two playing modes: Adventure (Timed) and Relaxed. In the Relaxed mode, users can play without a time limit in solving puzzles. The game stages are designed as books. Each book has three or four pages that must be ‘played’ in order to gain access to all parts of the book. Players can switch books any time. When a book’s puzzles have been solved, mini games will become available in the library. Players can play and replay a minigame if preferred.
