Baldur's Gate II - Shadows of Amn - Throne of Bhaal is a game expansion pack developed by BioWare to as the third installment to its Baldur’s Gate game series. It followed the Baldur's Gate II - Shadows of Amn role playing game. It completes the Shadows of Amn main plot and features Watcher’s Keep, a multi-level dungeon. This expansion also added new weapons and new class-related magical skills. It also increased the level cap and utilizes an improved Infinity graphics game engine.
Baldur's Gate II - Shadows of Amn - Throne of Bhaal gameplay is derived from all the other Baldur’s Gate games before it. The player creates a main player at the start of the game. In this expansion, the player can manage a party of up to 6 players including the main one. The plot revolves around the Bhaalspawn war happening in Tethyr. The main player has to kill five Bhaalspawns, or The Five to finish the game.
Baldur's Gate II - Shadows of Amn - Throne of Bhaal features some of the characters from the previous games. Some of the characters are mages, half-dragon half-men, monks, orcs, and even imps. Melissan is a woman who helps the main protagonist throughout the game. Illasera is a Bhaalspawn of elven descent. Abazigal is a half-dragon. Gromnir Il-Khan is a half orc, while Cespenar is an imp. The game also features non-Player characters like Sarevok.
