Battlefield 3™

Battlefield 3™ (BF3) is a video game program initially released in October 25, 2011 in North America and October 28, 2011 in Europe. It is created by EA Digital Illusions CE AB. This first-person shooter (FPS) game is a sequel to Battlefield 2. It is also the 12th franchise of the Battlefield. The video game application features single player and cooperative campaigns. A multiplayer game play is also available.

In the campaign mode, players can take on different military personas including an F/A-18 weapons system officer, GRU Spetsnaz operative, Force Recon Marine, or MIA2 Abrams tank operator. The campaign mode is set in 2014 and follows Sergeant Blackburn’s story. The multiplayer game play offers four different roles – Recon, Assault, Engineer, and Support. Multiple game modes are also available including Squad Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Conquest, Squad Rush, and Rush. 5 different downloadable contents are also available. These are Aftermath, Back to Karkand, Close Quarters, End Game, and Armored Kill.

Battlefield 3™ features Frostbite 2 game engine offering new animation, epic scale, special effects and lighting, design and sound. It also offers more battles with its multiplayer maps. This video game application features a free Battlelog service that offers social integration as well as full stat tracking.
