BlackBerry Backup Extractor

BlackBerry Backup Extractor is a conversion application developed by Reincubate and released on September 2013. This program is especially developed to work with Blackberry phones, particularly the Blackberry Bold, Curve, Pearl, Storm, and Torch. The program can retrieve and extract the data contained in the Blackberry device whether in BBB or IPD format. These include Contacts, Calendar entries, SMS messages, MMS, and Call History, among others. It can also retrieve media files including photos, videos, and ringtones. The program features a one-click function, extracting all the data and saving them into separate folders. BlackBerry Backup Extractor also supports several operating systems and computer types. Data retrieved from the device are then converted into VCard, ICAL, or CSV formats. This allows users to import the same into Outlook, Excel, or Webmail for easy access.

BlackBerry Backup Extractor sports a grey and white user interface theme. The program name, version, and developer are displayed on the banner of the UI.  The Open button sits at the top left, beside the Open status bar. The green part of the status bar corresponds to the progress percentage, while the grey represents the unfinished part. Once the scan is complete, the program displays the amount of data corresponding to a specific type. Below the Open button is the Extract button, with its corresponding Extract progress bar. Clicking the Extract button launches a pop-up window allowing users to specify the output folder path for the extracted data.
