Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare Multiplayer

Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare (CoD MW) Multiplayer mode is one of the game modes available in the CoD MW franchise. CoD MW is a FPS video game initially released on November 5, 2007. The game is the first installment of the Modern Warfare line and the fourth part of the Call of Duty game series. Unlike earlier CoD games, this game is set in modern times and the storyline takes place in the year 2011. Furthermore, modern weapons are used in this game unlike earlier installments where WWII weapons were used.

The multiplayer mode of CoD MW features deathmatch-based and team-based game. Each game type consists of an objective that the players need to accomplish. When players obtain a certain number of kill streaks, they’ll have the ability to call for air strikes, attack helicopters and reconnaissance UAV scans. The game is finished when one of the teams (or a member of a team) has obtained a predefined points or the given time expires. In the time mode, the team or player with the most number of points win the game. There’s also a Sudden Death mode and Overtime match.

In this game mode, the performance of the player is tracked using experience points (XP). The XP can be earned by completing missions, completing challenges, killing enemies or completing a match or round. Obtaining enough points allows a player to level up, unlock new weapons, unlock challenges, unlock gameplay modes and unlock perks. The highest possible level in CoD MW is 55.
