Carnivores 2 is a hunting-themed first-person shooter game developed by the company, Action Forms. The player takes on the role of a hunter who works for DinoHunt Corporation, which is a company that brings hunting aficionados to dense and dangerous locations in order to hunt real dinosaurs. The player’s main goal in this game is to hunt the prehistoric meat-eating creatures in order to earn credits and receive trophies. At the beginning of the game, a hunter is provided with 100 credits, which will be used to acquire a hunting area, the type of dinosaurs to be hunted, and the type of weapon to be used. Since each weapon, dinosaur, and location has a corresponding price, the amount of credits a player has will determine his/her hunting ability. Players increase their skills as they progress in the game, and they also gain the opportunity to hunt more than one dinosaur in more advanced areas using several weapons.

In the event that a player is defeated by a dinosaur and gets killed off in the game, all credits earned in that level are forfeited and s/he has to start over. In order to keep the player’s accumulated credits, DinoHunt Corp. must rescue him/her in time to survive the hunt. Carnivores 2 features new carnivore breeds including the Spinosaurus and Ceratosaurus as well as herbivores like the Anklyosaurus. Players can choose from among six types of firearms to successfully kill their dinosaur targets.
