Cars 2

Cars 2 is a racing video game developed by Avalanche Software and published by Disney Interactive Studios. It is based on the Cars 2 movie and was initially released on June 21, 2011 in North America and July 22, 2011 in Europe. Being based on the Cars 2 film, this video game follows the adventure of Mater and Lightning McQueen as they prepare to become a secret spy in a secret facility called Command Headquarters for Recon Operations and Motorized Espionage (CHROME). The two are joined by Holley Shiftwell and Finn McMissile (British Intelligence agents) as they train to become a spy.

The game offers most of the characters from the original Cars 2 film. It is a 3rd person racing game wherein players choose from 25 various characters and train them to turn into a world-class spy. When training, the players will partake in missions while using high-tech devices that will help them to complete missions such as slowing or avoiding enemies. There are three trophy types in the game – gold, silver and bronze. The points are rewarded at various values, which depend on the type of vehicle class the player is using.  The characters in the game are categorized into three different weight classes – light, medium and heavy. New missions, cars and tracks can also be unlocked by gathering emblems. The multiplayer mode also support up to four players at the same time.
