Command and Conquer: The First Decade video game compilation was released in 2006. This compilation featured all Command and Conquer games released between 1995 and 2003. Command and Conquer is the video game franchise that features real-time strategy genre where players need to gather resources in order to construct buildings, generate units, and install upgrades to units. Game play in Command and Conquer is military action-oriented. In this type of game play, players maintain and defend a base by continued resource gathering, and controlling a variety of combat and support units to fight their enemies. The structures and units shown in the game has a mixture of realistic and science-fiction futuristic aesthetic.
