Cooliris

Cooliris is an image-viewer application developed by Cooliris. It is a web browser plug-in that allows users to view their photos from multiple websites and image-hosting sites in one application. Cooliris creates an interactive slideshow using all these photos. Cooliris is available as a plug-in for most web browsers including IE, Firefox, Google Chrome, and Safari. It supports websites with HTML pages supporting mediaRSS tags.

Cooliris features web support for numerous image-hosting sites like Flickr, Corbis, Photobucket, Fotki, and Picasa. This web plugin also supports image database sites like Bing Images, Yahoo! Image Search, Google Image Search, AOL Image Search, and Ask.com Images. Cooliris also supports the social network sites like Facebook, MySpace, Bebo, Friendster, deviantART, and hi5. Cooliris also features YouTube support for videos, and support for shopping sites like Amazon and Craigslist.

When Cooliris is installed, mousing over an image thumbnail will show a small Cooliris icon at the corner. Clicking the icon will launch Cooliris as a full-screen photoviewer. Cooliris is also available for mobile devices like iPad and iPhone as an app. It is also available for Android-powered mobile devices. It functions the same as the web browser plug-in. It supports mobile apps like Facebook, Instagram, and Picasa. It also supports Google +, Google Search, and Google Drive. Cooliris users can share images directly from Cooliris to their social network sites like Facebook and Twitter.
