Delta Force: Task Force Dagger is the FPS game the developer of which is Zombie Studios. It was released on June 2002. First person shooter involves the player controlling a gun or any projectile-based weapon in a first person perspective. This game follows the previous installment in the Delta Force game series—Delta Force: Land Warrior.
Delta Force: Task Force Dagger’s setting is the Conflict in Afghanistan in 2002. The player can join one unit from ten units in Special Operations. These include the SFOD – Delta, SEAL Team 6, 2/75th RANGER, SFOD-SF Viper Team, UK SAS 22 Regiment, CIA Special Operations, Canadian JTF-2, Australian SASR, AirForce Pararescue, and Marines Force Recon. These ten units are the real life Special Operations Units which were deployed in Afghanistan as part of Operation Enduring Freedom. Operation Enduring Freedom is the USA’s official name for the Afghanistan war. Each unit handles a special role—SEAL Team 6 is the medic, Viper team is the heavy weapon specialists, etc.—each with their own preferred weapons. However, players may still choose other weapons aside from preferred ones. This game provides users over 30 weapon choices.
Delta Force: Task Force Dagger is a large scale multiplayer game that comes with a mission editor. It comes pre-equipped with 10 multiplayer maps. It features 25 regular Delta Force missions.
