docXConverter is a program used for converting documents to different file formats, such as Unicode, text, CSV, or RTF. This is useful for accessing documents using basic computer programs, such as TextEdit, WordPad, Corel WordPerfect, or Microsoft Word. The application is capable of preserving the original layout of the document including the alignment of paragraphs, comments and text, headers and footers, tables, and even the color, style, and font used for the original document.

The program has a small window that consists of all the tasks that can be done with the application. It supports the drag and drop feature, so users can easily drag files to the program’s window to start the conversion process. Under the Preferences window, users can change the conversion settings under the Word Processing tab. Users can change the location of the output file, the type of output file, and the default program to be used for opening the file. Other settings that can be changed include the output location for the converted file, as well as the alert and sounds after the conversion is done.
