DriverDoc is a system utility tool that assists in updating all the drivers that are installed on the computer. The program scans the computer of all the drivers that are currently installed. It then finds out which drivers have some problems. It looks for drivers that need to be updated. It also looks for those that need to be repaired. When a driver needs to be updated, the software downloads the update immediately from the driver manufacturer's website. The program can identify over 16 million drivers that can be found on a computer. Furthermore, the program can update automatically. This means that there is no notification that asks permission to update the program because it updates automatically.
Driver Doc has a Driver Restore feature. The program creates a backup of all the computer's drivers before the update is done. The backup can be stored on the PC. It can also be stored on a USB device.
DriverDoc has a user interface that puts its main features on the left. When scanning, all the drivers are listed on the central pane. The application also has a bar that displays what is currently being scanned. It also displays an estimated time for scanning procedures.
