EvilLyrics searches for lyrics for songs playing in a user’s audio program and displays them. This audio plugin is compatible with Windows Media Player, iTunes, MusicMatch, XMPlay, Meedio, Album Player, Winamp, Foobar, Real Player, QCD, JetAudio, and Yahoo! Music Engine. When users select a song from their media library and play it, the program will automatically search for that song’s lyrics and display them in a separate window.

Basically, what this program does is allow users to listen to music while following along to the lyrics on display. It is like having an actual karaoke on your laptop or desktop PC. Users can do this simply by working the simple interface where they can type in the song name and the artist, press the Return or Enter key and then view the results. Users can also print the lyrics straight from the program. The program can translate the lyrics of songs in a foreign language, do a full text search within lyrics, find posters and album covers, submit lyrics, and even post the lyrics in social networks and blogs.

Lastly, the program has a quick response time in terms of locating the lyrics of a song and displaying accurate ones.
