Extremely Goofy Skateboarding is a Disney inspired game developed by Krome Studios and published by Disney Interactive in September 2001. The game features Disney character Goofy as the main character. It is based in the Goof Troop animated TV series. It is a single player game that is marketed towards kids ages 6 and above.
Extremely Goofy Skateboarding’s gameplay involves Goofy or Max skateboarding through different worlds. The players may choose either of the two characters. The game offers four worlds that include three levels each. The objective of the game is to finish each level to advance to the next level, and eventually complete all the levels in a world to advance to the next world. There are various game modes including tech session, and shred session, among others. The game also offers various tutorial modes to learn the different skateboarding techniques and tactics that may be used. The game enables users to customize Goofy’s appearance as to his apparel and head gear. Players may also upgrade and customize his skateboard.
Extremely Goofy Skateboarding soundtrack is composed in early 2001 by Jack Wall. For a limited time after its release, a free demo of the game was included in selected boxes of Kellogg’s cereals. It was entitled Extremely Goofy Skateboarding Preview. The demo game includes several tutorial sessions for players to practice tricks, as well as one playable level.
