F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin is a psychological horror FPS video game first released in 2009 in North America. The game is the direct continuation to the F.E.A.R video game. The storyline continues the story of Alma, a supernatural being who decided to take revenge on those people who have wronged her causing a paranormal crisis. The player takes the character of a Delta Force operator named Michael Becket.
Project Origin’s gameplay is similar to the previous installment. Players can play in either multiplayer or single-player mode. The multiplayer mode offers different game types including team deathmatch, deathmatch, last man standing, capture the flag, conquer all and control. As a first-person shooter game, the game’s main element is the weapon he uses. The primary element is the Reflex Time, which enables the player to slow down the world while still having the ability to aim and take actions at normal speed. Players may still use all the core elements available in the first game including enhanced A.I. and martial attacks. The game also retains the same exploits in F.E.A.R including knocking down tables, taking cover and others. The game also offers added features such as the ability to use mechs, iron sight aiming and pushing objects to take cover.
