Filzip 3.06

Filzip is a file archiving program used for extracting files from an archive file. It supports a wide variety of file formats including CAB, JAR, ZIP, GZIP, TAR, and LZH. In addition, the program can also be used to convert files between different file formats. The application has a simple and straightforward interface that novice computer users will be able to user.

All the task buttons are located on the upper part of the window (New, Open, Add, Extract, Delete, and others). Folders can be viewed on the left side of the main window in a tree view. Users can see the main folder, as well as its contents inside. When a folder is selected, the contents can also be seen on the main window with the filename, file type, size, ratio, date and time, and other important information. Extra tools included in the application can be used for repairing zip files, encrypting, decrypting, and multi-extraction of files. Under the Preferences window, users can also change options for different areas including program locations, language, auto update, shell extension, folders, filetypes, and many others.
