gDoc Creator

gDoc Creator is a tool that enables users to create PDF documents from other document formats. It comes bundled with the gDoc Fusion program, also by Global Graphics Software, and is also available as a standalone application. Aside from PDF creation, this tool also lets users read, edit, and share documents in both PDF and XPS file formats. Among its main features are the following:

• Drag and drop function for faster and easier creation of PDF and XPS files.
• PDF and XPS file creation directly from Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint, and Word toolbars. Created PDFs retain not only the formatting and font sizes, but also hypertext links and bookmarks as well. The application also offers users the option to retain the editability of texts.
• PDF to Word conversion. Users can also generate Word documents from PDF, so these can be used and edited in Microsoft Word and other word processing applications.
• Flick view for quick browsing. This view lets users visually search through multiple pages in different formats, similar to flipping through printed pages such as magazines and books.
• Simple, user-friendly interface. The application is displayed as a small orange rectangle. It comes with four icons (help, settings, close, and position) and a conversion progress bar. Users can access the settings window to specify where the output PDF or XPS will be saved, toggle sound options, and command the program to open the created document once the conversion process is completed.
