GetDataBack

GetDataBack is an application that allows users to recover files that have been lost in the hard drive. The program is useful when files have been lost due to formatting, system crash, or power failure. The application makes use of an advanced algorithm so that the files are recovered just as they were. It has a wizard interface, which makes the process of retrieving data easy even for those who are not computer savvy. The program’s main window has a simple user interface as well.

On the main window, menus are located at the upper portion of the window. There are also two buttons at the top portion – Exit and Options. The left side of the window displays help topics for the user including information about data recovery, do’s and don’ts when recovering files, and contact information and support for using the application. The first step in retrieving data is selecting one of the options for the data loss scenario. After the program has scanned the system, users can then choose the files to save from the results list provided by the application. The program does not clog up system resources and it can scan the system in the background while the user does other computer activities.
