Google Maps Download is a program used for downloading images from Google Maps to the computer. It can download any type of map including terrain, hybrid, satellite, and regular maps. This allows users to view the maps even when not connected to the Internet with the Maps Viewer.

The Google Maps Download application has an intuitive interface. Users just need to enter the information on the different fields to download a particular map. Some of the information needed include the longitude (left, right, top, and bottom), the zoom level, and the location where the map will be saved. Users must also type in the task name and the type of map to be downloaded. The latitude and longitude of the locations can be found in Google Maps by right-clicking on a spot and looking at the coordinates. Once all the information has been entered, users must click on the “Start” button to download the map. A small window will appear on the screen to show the download progress.

In addition, users can create one big map out of the small maps downloaded using the Google Maps Download program. The output file can be in JPEG, TIFF, map file, and BPW.
