Gourmania 2 Great Expectations 1.0

Gourmania 2: Great Expectations is a hidden object and time management game developed by the company, Alawar Entertainment. The player takes on the role of a new restaurateur who faces the challenges of restoring run-down restaurants and managing them properly. In the Timed mode, the player must be able to keep the customers happy by giving them their respective orders on time. The levels come in the form of days, which get more and more difficult as the game progresses. More customers arrive each day, and some of them have shorter tempers than others. When a customer runs out of patience, s/he will leave the restaurant, thereby taking away potential points for the player.

The Hidden Object game element is injected through the food items cleverly concealed around the restaurant. Occasionally, customers will order these menu items and the player must be able to find them just in time to keep the customers from leaving. Players may also play without the timed option by choosing the Relaxed mode, wherein customers never lose their patience no matter how long it takes for their orders to arrive. In order to advance to the next day or level, the player must meet a set monetary goal; if this requirement is not fulfilled, the player must repeat the level. Money earned from the levels can be spent on restaurant improvements and new kitchen equipment.
