Haunted House 3D Screensaver is a holiday screensaver that is displayed when the system is idle. Once installed, the screensaver can be activated from the Windows Control Panel. The time of activation depends on settings which are chosen by the user. When the screensaver starts, a view of a haunted castle can be seen. It has a gothic feel and the windows are yellowish glow. The haunted castle is surrounded by a graveyard, too. Raindrops make the scene even scarier. The screensaver provides a first-person view of the surroundings, but users will not be able to control the camera’s movement. After panning across the exterior, users are taken inside the haunted castle. The screensaver is also accompanied by ambient music.
Haunted House 3D Screensaver has a configuration window where users can modify the behavior of the program. The sound options allow the user to enable or disable the sounds and music. The program comes with its own music, but users are free to use other audio files. A playlist can even be created. The screensaver’s graphics quality can be changed (minimal to maximal) with a slider. Other settings to configure include the video mode (dimensions of the screen) and the monitor selection.
