Heroes of Might and Magic® III: Armageddon's Blade

Heroes of Might and Magic III: Armageddon's Blade is the first release of the two sequels for the game Heroes of Might and Magic III. Armageddon’s Blade is the only one that connects to the main story. In the story, Erathia tries to pick itself up when the Kreegans launch an invasion. The usurper king, Lucifer Kreegan, wants to create the mighty Armageddon’s Blade, the weapon that can set the world afire. He commissions Xeron, his minion general, to search for the weapon’s parts. The kingdoms of Erathia and AvLee try to thwart Xeron’s goal by launching an attack. They are helped by Gelu, the elven warrior shrouded in mystery. They succeeded but Xeron still has the Blade. Fortunately, Gelu defeated Xeron when the latter returned to Eofol. (The story continues in Heroes Chronicles.)

The new features in Heroes of Might and Magic III: Armageddon’s Blade includes generators of maps and creatures, complete campaigns, and 38 single scenarios.  Sprites and the phoenixes inhabit the conflux town together with the elementals in Heroes III. Each has strengths borne out of magic but with specific weaknesses. The phoenix is still the fastest and the most powerful. The maps are filled with treasures and various quest objects like the quest gates, the seer’s huts, border gates, and others.
