Hitman 2: Silent Assassin is a stealth video game that was released in 2002. It is the sequel to the game Hitman: Codename 47. In the game, players control Agent 47, an assassin who must carry out a series of contract killings. At the start of each level, the player is given goals to complete. There is no set strategy for finishing the mission. It is up to the player how to carry it out. In most cases, missions consist of killing a character. Players can set traps and sneak up behind targets to carry out missions without getting caught.
Users can also wear clothes from a killed character in order to blend with the people in the surroundings. However, players must watch the suspicion meter carefully to avoid being caught. If the suspicion level gets too high, the disguise will no longer be in effect. A rating system is added to the game. After each mission, players are rated according to the performance in the level. Players who are given the Silent Assassin rating also get a new weapon. There is a total of 21 missions in the game and 19 main targets to assassinate.
Here are other new features in the game:
• Anesthetic to sedate targets for a short time
• Silent versions of some weapons
• Crouching to hide behind objects
• First-person mode
• Map shows AI movements in real-time
