Home Sweet Home 2: Kitchens and Baths is a time management game where users have to build and design kitchens and baths in different homes based on the requests of the homeowner. Players control three characters (Liz, Brian, and Goran) as they try to build and design spaces. At the start of each level, players are given clues on what the client wants. There are also a set number of days that the player must finish the job. There are more than 500 items that can be customized as well.

In some instances, some items in the room will break. Players must also fix them before the time is up. Workers will get tired when they work without taking a break. Allowing them to work while they are tired will result in slow progress. Players must give them coffee in order to boost their energy and work in tiptop shape.
