ImageToAvi is a simple program used for converting photos and images to a GIF animation or an AVI video. The resulting project can be burned on a disc. The program supports both PAL and NTSC region formats. It has an intuitive user interface, which is ideal even for those who are not computer savvy. The program is portable, too. This allows users to save the program on a thumb drive or external hard disk and use it on other computers. It does not need to be installed in the system in order for it to work.

The program’s interface is divided into different sections. The list shows all the items that have been imported into the program. Users can add items by clicking on the “Add Image Files” button. A background images for the pictures can be added as well. With the program, video effects can be added, too. Other settings for the video are located on the bottom part of the window. Some of the things that can be changed include the frame rate per second, height and width of the video, number of time each frame is repeated, and the video file format. The number of frames and the length of the video can be seen on the lower right part of the window.
