Maxthon 3

Maxthon 3 is a customizable web browser that allows users to keep all their browsing settings and favorites in one place. The multi-search option included in the web browser displays search results from several search engines including Google, Bing, and Yahoo. The URL Alias feature is capable of saving the most visited URLs so that there’s no need to type the address each time the website is opened. With the program, gamers can have multiple sessions in a single browser. Another feature of the application is muting sounds coming from the web browser. This is useful when visiting websites that have noisy advertisements.

Safety is ensured while browsing with Maxthon 3 as it has private browsing. Websites visited or files downloaded are not saved on the system when in private browsing mode. The AdHunter feature protects the computer from loading pop-ups to prevent malicious files from entering the computer. The setting can be changed for trusted websites.

Maxthon 3 has built-in tools on the web browser, too. One of these tools is the Download Sniffer. This tool detects when a webpage with multimedia content is accessed. Videos, photos, and audio files can then be downloaded with the clock of a button. There is also a built in Status Bar to monitor the IP address, CPU speed, and other information regarding the system.
